NR Korbell is a 17 year old 16h Polish Arabian Gelding. Originally trained as a Dressage and Jumping prospect his has made his way from Arizona to Florida to Misouri to New Hampshire and finally now to Massachusetts.
Having been with us for a year this past fall Korbell was back in training to be a Dressage horse. That is until he refused to get on the trailer to go to his first show! Instead he has found his calling as a barrel and gymkhana horse. This is one Arabian who loves to run!

Horse Profile :Wolfs Pure Chaos
Wolfs Pure Chaos or PC, as we call him, is a 2004 Colorado Ranger Horse gelding. He is currently in training to be an Event Horse. But that training has been a slow process. For right now we are focusing on rhythm and quality of movement.
PC had most of the fall off, due to my hectic work schedule, but has been back in regular work since the first week in January. These photos are from last spring so we have made some progress since then. I hope to have him competing this summer.

New starts
Since this blog was supposed to be for reviews I'm changing things just slightly. Instead of reviews of places I'm going to use this as a platform for Equestrian equipment reviews. I'll also be posting training updates on My boys.
Check back soon for updates and reviews.

Doomsday Preppers
Last night my husband and I happened upon a show called Doomsday Preppers on nat Geo. Now if you have never seen this show its probably one of the craziest reality tv shows I've seen so far. Each episode follows 2 different groups of people who are prepping for some kind of end of the world scenario.
I'm not sure which is scarier, that there is a whole show devoted to people obsessed with the end of the world, or that there is a company that goes around and rates these people to tell them how long they think they can survive. (Practical Preppers). They even have their own app, if you check the nat geo website you can find it.
Now I'm all for being prepared. I get the canned goods and the self sufficient water supply. I'm even a huge fan of solar and wind power. Seriously though, I feel bad for all of those kids whose dads drill into them the world is going to end day after day. It makes you wonder what their therapy bill is going to cost when then turn 25 and finally move away from their parents. If it was me I'd probably go across country.
Anyways, The show is pretty interesting in a crazy way. It doesn't make me want to teach my 4 year old to shoot, but it was a decent way to pass some time this once.

A lot about nothing
Well since my other blog is in stasis at the moment I guess I'm going to have to move everything here. Sadly I did not hit 50,000 words last month. I did get around 11,000 which for me was a huge step so I am still very excited. At this rate I hope to finish by he spring.
If I don't get my other blog up and running shortly I will be posting this weeks tour here on Friday. This week I will be hosting for Shannon Phoenix's new book Guardians of the Abyss. Stop on by Friday to check out what I thought.
Since I need to get back to writing or I won't hit this months goal of 10,000 words I will have to sign off for now.
Happy Blogging!

National Novel Writing Month
So here it is November and time for National Novel Writing Month. For those of you who have no idea what that means check out the website :)
Anyways so I have decided to really push myself this year to get my first full length novel finished. I have a novella being published in the spring so that helped spur on my desire to write a full length story. What a perfect time to do it!
As of today I have 9304 words of the goal 50,000. I'm off to a good start. Heres hoping I can hit 10,000 by tonight. Unfortunately I must focus on some house and stall cleaning right now. After that though it's right back to writing. At least until its time to head to kickboxing....
If you are participating your welcome to add me as a writing buddy. Just check out Wolfmajick :)

Well I should be writing
So since I should be working on my novel I am instead watching tv and blogging. Oh well. Its hard to concentrate with a four year old hopping around trying to hit you with toys. Right now he is watching Phineas and Ferb. Hopefully it doesn't give him any crazy ideas. Well scratch that I'm more than sure he is getting some crazy ideas right now. I guess it is time to head outside and see what trouble we can get into on this nice fall day!
